However, the Stallions regained their momentum before the second intermission. Liam Beaudoin fired a shot from the point, beating the SSA goaltender to restore the lead. Max Le Houllier provided the key assist on the play.
In the third period, the Stallions extended their lead to 4-2 when Kristian Prokopetz found the back of the net, assisted by Xavian Van’t Hoff and Sebastian Gayagoy, on what proved to be the game-winning goal. SSA mounted a final push, managing to cut the deficit with a late goal from Grant Yingst, set up by Killian Kissane and Michael Jany. Despite their efforts, time ran out, and the Stallions celebrated a historic championship victory.
Goaltending played a crucial role in the outcome. Raphael Duperron stood tall for the Stallions, stopping 20 of 23 shots faced, while SSA’s Jean-Luc Beaubien was kept busy, making 27 saves on 31 shots.
